Suburban Minnesota
MINNETONKA (MNS)—Spring is here, and with warmer weather comes the inevitable buzz and bite of mosquitoes. Mosquitoes are pesky, and they often carry diseases that impact humans, pets or wildlife. But eradicating all mosquitoes isn’t the best way to manage those problems. Our natural environment needs these little creatures and has built-in systems to help control them. Hundreds of animal species – from songbirds and bats to frogs, fish and dragonflies – gorge on mosquito larvae.
